The Hanze has got talent!
A tough call today for the jury panel at the final presentations of the ICT students. Compliments to all of the ICT students for the results presented. After final evaluation the judges decided to award the first place to the web development group, but the others were very close. A big thank you to all participants for the amount of time and effort invested in the project!

The web-development team...

Startup for IDM students
Today was the startup for the group of IDM students. Welcome onboard!
We had an inspiring lecture on the principle of social media and crowdsourcing from Frank Willems. Amazing to see how many initiatives are popping up all over the world, and how powerfull crowdsourcing can be. I had never realised the diversity of applications where crowdsourcing can be used: from close to home Verbeterdebuurt to...

We have had a succesfull kick-off meeting yesterday in Delfzijl. With approx 45 students and teachers, our warehouse was transformed into an extraordinary classroom. There was a lively discussion and positive mood.
